Service Pack 4 disabled wireless networking

After installing Service Pack 4 my wireless card ceased to
function. The signal between it and the router are
perfect, but I receive the message the the
wirelss "Network cable is unplugged." I did not archive
before installing the service pack, so it does not appear
that it can be uninstalled. Can anyone help?

I have some bad news. If the SP did cause this issue......AND you didn't
archive before the install.....you are looking at doing one of two
things....

1) Leave the system as-is and wait for a fix to be issued.
2) Reformat the system and start from scratch.

A word of note (it doesn't help now) you should ALWAYS archive when
installing a Service Pack for occasions such as this one. The archive takes
less than 100MB and can be deleted at a later date.

I hope this sheds some light on the situation.
