I purchased a counterfeit copy of XP corporate. Now I've upgraded it to
genuine windows (with the microsoft download, and a disk sent to me).

I kept receiving prompts telling me that I needed SP2, which I tried to
download - unsuccessfully - (by the way the disk supplied with the upgrade
says it has SP2 on it). Now the download site says I have SP2, but evey
program I try to download (such as Explorer 7 Beta) says that SP2 is required.

Help!

I would have purchased an OEM copy of XP with an item of hardware instead of
using the Windows Genuine Advantage kit, because you don't really know is on
that illegal copy that could make it malfunction.
