service pack 2

when I install service pack 2 my computer crashes why?? I
am running an AMD AthlonXp 2200+ 1.8GHz 768mb of ram
can someone help please ?????

crashes and the reboots,it then starts to scan C drive
(where windows XP PRO is and then starts to trunch of
lost links ect hope this helps u more thanks

then it scans C drive(where windoiws is installed )and
start to trunch lines, then it will sometimes get on to
my desktop and then reboot again and so on please can you
help me????

Then follow the instructions here:

and install SP 2 again.
