service pack 2 XP professional

When I try to update to service pack 2 and the system tries to download the
files,
my system crashes.
I'm also getting Runtime errors and when I try to debug them the debugger
does not clear the problem.

You may better off posting your problem to the Windows Update News Group
with a few more details, including any error messages that you see:
