One of my users recently installed service pack 2 without saying anything and
of course now. One of our programs that we run, uses an odbc sql connection
to connect to the database an now it is not working giving an error saying it
can call the sql driver. I uninstalled sp2 but it still didn't work. It
kept giving the same error. I ran the component checker and it said that
some files were unknown. So I updated MDAC to 2.8 but it still is giving the
same error. I used system restore to go back a week or so but it still is
giving the same error. I am now stuck does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Hi!

I'm having the same problem. After installing SP2 my application
cannot connect to server thrue ODBC. Not even to a local SQL serve
(MSDE). I can connect to the database with Enterprise Manager or Quer
Anylizer but not with ODBC.

Please let me know if you find a solution.

Thanks
