service pack 2 and hardware

I have service pack 2 and every time i try to install new hardware (web cam
and printer-scanner) i get a message that tells me to insert the service pack
2 cd. i downloaded it off the web site tho so i have no cd. Helpppp

You are going to have to re-download the file and expand its contents to a
folder somewhere. When you are prompted for the CD navigate to the service
pack folder.
