Service Pack 2.0 for Compact Framework?

When I was at the PDC i Los Angeles we where told that service pack 2.0 for
the Compact Framework would come very soon.

Since I'm to deploy a new solution in a few weeks I wondered how soon I can
expect it?

SP2 is in beta right now. The objective is to release SP2
before the year's end.
