Servers registering multiple IPs on DNSs

I have two servers both with two NICs and IPs in different ranges (One set
for the internal office users and One set for our remote users who connect
via the VPN) My problem is that I want one set of IPs to register themselves
with one DNS Server and the other set on another DNS Server. Both Servers
are running DNS. Then I set the internal users to one DNS Server and the
Remote users to the other. The problem is that the servers are registering
both IPs they have with each other. So sometimes my remote users will be
given the internal IP address and the remote users will be given the external
IP. This obviously creates a lot of havoc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

You would have to do this manually.

As a DNS client (registering itself is a DNS 'client' function),
the machine assumes that ALL DNS servers it knows are equal
and will have the same information/capabilities.

are running DNS. Then I set the internal users to one DNS Server and the
Remote users to the other.

I understand -- I do this by giving each NIC a different
DNS name so that each address is resolved through that
different name by each set of clients, otherwise you will
have to do it manually or by writing/finding some sort of
registration utility.

The problem is that the servers are registering
both IPs they have with each other. So sometimes my remote users will be
given the internal IP address and the remote users will be given the external
IP. This obviously creates a lot of havoc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Different names or manual registration, or perhaps programmatically
(i.e., nothing built-in to do that.)
