server service in 2000 professional

I have just deployed 29 new 2000 professional
workstations. There was group policy configured before I
installed these PC's, though I did not setup the
policies. On the PC's there is no server service like
there usually is in 2000 professional. When I try to
share somthing such as a printer, as soon as I hit ok, its
not shared. I was thinking this was do to no server
service. Is there a group policy setting that would turn
this off? they also use roaming profiles. Thanks for your
help.

You'll want to bind file and printer sharing to at least one of your
connections.
