server path dialog?

Hiya,

Anyone know if there is such a thing as a dialog of some sort that can be
used to get a server path name from the user? I'm designing an app that
connects to a SQL Server database. What I'd like to do is have a dialog pop
up when the app installs so that the user can "point" the app to the server.
I'm thinking of something like an "open file dialog". Any ideas?

If you want to discover sql servers on the network (did I understand it
correctly?) you might check the following thread.
