server name

What is my server name?? I am using hotmail.com and windows live but don't
know my server name!! PLease help!

Windows Mail does not work with Hotmail.
Windows Live Mail does. No need to type in server names:

entered the server name correctly.

I don't know my server name!

"Live" accounts are the same as Hotmail accounts (webmail), and can't be
accessed with Windows Mail, unless you are one of the few that pays for POP
access.

You can use the newer Windows Live Mail to access Hotmail and Live
accounts.

That's because it's SMTP, NOT, "smpt" You've made a typo in setting up the
account.
