Server name disapper

Hello,

I have a big problem today.
My server is the only domain controller in office. Everyone is able to
connect and login to the domain. I can see all workstation on the list in
server. However, in each workstation, user is unable to see server name on
network neighborhood.

I tried LMHost, but seems doesn't work. What can I do? Thanks!!

Have you disabled NetBT or the TCP/IP Helper Service? NetBT is enabled
through the WINS tab under advanced TCP/IP Settings. Or, has the Browser
service been disabled or stopped?

Just because the server isn't listed in the Browse list, doesn't mean things
can't reach it. It just means it's a little trickier for users to find it
;-)

Thank you Paul!
I checked that NetBT has already enabled and Browser service is ruuning. I
tried to stop it and restart again. But seems the "name" of the server
doesn't show up on neighborhood. Any trick I can do?

Thanks!

Does this server have multiple NICs? Or have you recently made it a RAS
server?

NetBT binds to the first NIC in the binding order, which can sometimes be
the wrong one as far as browsing is concerned.
