it.I dont have the cd that came with my computer so i have no idea how to get
on my computer anymore. Is it totally ruined?Any ideas and help is so
appreciated i feel so lost without my computer.

The activation wizard should give you a phone number to call. Call and
explain what happened and they should be able to help you.

how did you go about trying to remove it from your computer?
Did you try Add/Remove Programs?
Office xp should not interfere with your computers ability to start as it's
not an operating system, it's just an Office Program.
Try starting in Safe Mode..reboot the computer and as soon as the screen
turns black tap the F8 key repeatedly until you get to the advance startup
options, and select safe mode. Then, try to remove Office from there via
Add/Remove Programs.

It sounds like you installed Windows XP not Microsoft Office. They are two
very different programs. Here are some links explaining what activation is

http://www.microsoft.com/piracy/activation_faq.mspx

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/evaluation/features/activation.mspx

You will have to purchase a legitimate copy of XP in order to continue using
it. Once you have a legitimate copy here are some links that will help you
install it without losing your current setup.

If none of the above works your only option left is a clean install (losing
all your data and programs) of either your old operating system or the new
XP that you purchased.

Whatever you do it would be good to have a backup first. As you waited
beyond the 30 day limit you will have to remove the hard drive and install
it in a different computer to back it up. You could also boot from a Linux
CD and back it up that way.

In the future I suggest you read the messages that Windows pops up. If you
had you wouldn't be in this predicament.
