Anyone found a way to get the serialnumer on the attached monitor thru WMI??

Unfortunately, this functionality is not currently exposed by WMI.

The closest thing that I've found for retreiving monitor serial number info
was here, utilizing remote registry calls:
http://cwashington.netreach.net/depo/view.asp?Index=980&ScriptType=vbscript

Not the prettiest code in the world, but it is quite effective!
