Serial port connection from my tower to use my notebook display

I need to connect a computer tower to my notebook computer so that I can view
the desktop of the tower on the LCD of my notebook.

I need to be able to see the DOS or BIOS displays on the tower so I dont
think the normal DCC connection method works; meaning Windows does not boot
on the tower to complete the connection.

Does anyone know how to do this please?

Thank you.

That scenario isn't going to happen, unless you physically remove the
screen connection in the laptop and wire it directly to the tower video
port like a monitor would be. Just go get another monitor.
