Just installed a single port serial card in my XP
machine, I have 3rd party sofwtare that needs to run from
com4, the card will only install itself as com7, i have
edited the registry and manually tried to change the com
number BUT nothing seems to budge, This has worked before
and seems to have stopped since my mainboard got replaced.
