Separator Page?

Hi,

Running Windows XP Pro sp2, printers are shared off a Windows 2003 server.
I would like to have some kind of indicator between my print jobs, something
to separate out the print jobs from each other. I thought that is what the
separator page is for in the Advanced Tab of the printer properties but so
far I can't get it to do anything. I created a document with just an X in
it and referenced it in the Separator Page dialog but when I print a
document only the document comes out, not my separator page.

What am I missing?

Ok, did a little more investigation and figured out how to do this for a
typical laser printer. Now I just need to figure out if it's possible with
a thermal label printer. If anyone has any experience with this and Datamax
4208 printers it would be cool.
