Separating a document into several other documents: Word 2003

Hello All,

I have a 500 page document that I need to break up into five documents of
100 pages. I can't seem to figure out how to do this unless I cut and paste.
Is there a way to do this?

Hello Alcide-

There are other options, but that is as good as any & probably better.

To help it go faster, use Shift+Click to select your content if you're
familiar with the technique (or see Word Help on "Select Text & Graphics").
If the doc is formatted using Styles it would even be quicker to work from
Outline View to select & copy.

Also may be a good time to use the Office Clipboard so you can select & copy
each of the 5 segments. Then just create & paste into one new file after
another, save each as you go.
