Separate Workbook windows

Hello,
When I open two or more books in excel, i would like to have two separte 'windows' (with indiv. tool bars) that I can move around. After playing around with excel one day (I believe I cascaded the windows?), I found I could no longer do this. Both workbooks must remain in one 'window' with 1 toolbar. Help asap! Thanks!
 
Okay...I found one way around it thanks to other posts. I can open a new excel instance from program-excel and opening a new doc. Is there any other solution? I would like to open 5+ workbooks at one time and not have to start excel every time. Any ideas?
