separate windoe for each excel file opened

Hi,

I am not able to open second excel file in seperate widow.
Kindly give me some suggestion.

In xl2k and higher, you can see each window/workbook as a separate icon on your
windows taskbar by:

Tools|options|view tab|Check Windows in TaskBar

In earlier versions, you would have to actually start two different instances of
excel.

(Is that what you meant by a separate window?)
