Sent messages not being saved

Outlook suddenly stopped saving my sent messages in the 'sent items' folder.
I want to restore it so that my sent messages are saved. I have checked
under Tools>Options>e-mail options that the box is checked for 'save sent
messages in the sent items folder'. Any other ideas what I should do?

I am using Office 2007 Professional

Do you have a view set that hides them?
Are you replying to messages in other folders and saving the sent item
there? (its an option)
What type of email account do you have? Did you set the acct to use a
different sent folder?

Same issue for me. Running Outlook 07 on Win XP2. The past three weeks or so,
I can not seem to save any more than two days of sent emails.

Checked all settings, all views, and I know it's not the Archive feature.
They just go to etherland.
