Sent messages - body is empty

Have just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. My messages all leave
empty. Has anyone got an explanation? Previous version working perfectly;
Have McAfee Virus Scan, but turning it off made no difference; McAfee help
desk say it is nothing to do with them
 
Bizarrely, but attachments do go with the message. It is just the free text
that doesn't work. I have tried using WORD as the message editor, but it
makes no difference
