Sent Items folder and forwarded mail

I have a rule to forward all email to another email account. I do not want
the forwarded mail to be saved to the Sent Items folder. I do want all other
mail saved to the Sent Items folder. I've tried creating a rule but do not
see anything appropriate for doing so. All rules seemed geared toward the
Inbox. Is what I need possible using Outlook 2003?

What mail account type are you using? You might want to consider a server
based forwarding instead of a client side.

You can disable the default option to save sent e-mail and use a rule
instead so you can set exceptions;
