Sent folder & attachments

Does anyone know if there is a way to NOT save an attachment with the sent
email, in the sent email folder?

I have a number of people who do this which clogs up the exchange server.

Open the sent item by double clicking on it, right click on the attachment
and choose Remove. After that, save and close the message.

Thanks for the reply.

Based on the replys, outlook does NOT have a way to automatically strip the
attachments after the email is sent.

Boy, they should!

You'll need to remove it after its sent. There are utilities that can
remove it. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/attachments.asp for a list.
