SENT emails disappearing in OUTLOOK (2003)

Hi - the emails in my SENT box had started to disappear, not all at once, but
every now and then one would not log in the sent box! I have looked round
here and thought best to take advice and copy all that are in there into
another folder which I have done. Now no sent emails are saving.

I am assuming that this means I have a corrupt sent box, but I can't find
instructions on what best to do.

First make sure you don't have rules that are moving your emails to other
folders rather than Sent Items. Also make sure that you're still configured
to save your sent mail in the Sent Items folder.
If you do indeed have some corruption, close Outlook. Make sure you unhide
hidden files and folders using Windows Explorer. Use the search function to
find the scanpst.exe file. Double-click it to open it and follow the
instructions. Point it to your current PST and scan it. You may have to scan
repeatedly until no errors are found.
There's also a possibility that your Sent Items are being archived.
