Sent box is empty all the time??

Suddenly when I send messages they appear in the Outbox but after they have
been sent they do not appear in the Sent Box...

C an't find out why...

tools / options / email options / make sure "save copy in sent items" is

I have had this problem too. In fact, I had it just a bit ago. I tried what
you suggest, but that check box is already checked. My messages, once sent,
just go to my inbox rather than then "Sent Items" folder. I have to manually
put them in the sent folder.

I'd be tempted to uncheck and then recheck the box. You MIGHT have to
restart Outlook in between.

I don't believe your problem and that of the original poster is the same. I
suspect you're using gmail with an IMAP account. What you describe is notmail
gmail behavior.
