SendObject gives me an error

Too strange -- using the SendObject action in a Access97
macro to send a report as an XL file (which used to work
just fine), is now giving the error: "The command or
action 'OutputTo' isn't available now."

That's great, but I didn't attempt to use 'OutputTo' for
anything, I used SendObject.

Interesting clue: This occurs only after compacting the
database. If I edit the macro, save it, revert the edit,
re-save it again, this problem disappears. This problem
recurs only after the db is compacted.

Help?!?!?
