VILLABILLA

Hello,

I downloaded the SendMail2.1 add-in. It seems to be exactly what I nee
and that is to be able to send out a single sheet of a workbook as a
attachment.
The only problem seems to be is that when I choose the option to sen
out a sheet only, it creates this book1 and it asks me to save it.
would like to know if it does that only on my system or is it simpl
part of the add-in/macro?

I would like to send out a sheet without having to save it every time
send it out...

Can I do something so that it doesn't ask me to save the book i
creates?

Please let me know..

Hi Villabilla!

I think that you'll find the process used is covered in the User Guide
obtained from:

http://www.rondebruin.nl/sendmail-addin.htm

Whilst there, you might grab the 3.1 version that allows a Zip option.

SendMail needs to save a file before sending. Version 3.1 allows you
the option to always delete that saved file after sending.

Just think about it! If you are sending a single sheet for someone to
open with Excel, that sheet must be an Excel Workbook. If it must be
an Excel workbook, it has to be created.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

So if I understand right: it is not possible to have a macro to sav
the workbook by itself?

I will anyway have to give the created workbook a name and location an
save it by myself?

So this version 3.1; it would be handy if it deletes the file afte
sending but it would be great if it would save it also automatically
But that is not the case?

p.s. I appreciate it a lot what the makers of SendMail created becaus
it is a very handy add-in but I am just looking what the possibilitie
exactly are..

Hi
So if I understand right: it is not possible to have a macro to save
the workbook by itself?

This is possible but what name must I use?
Every user can give the file a name they want now.
For a Add-in is this the only way.

But I have examples on my site that you can use to save the file
with he name you want.

Ah great to hear that it is possible, then I'll look on the site yo
gave me about how to do it...

Thanks a lot for your efforts
