Sendkeys to a background application

Hi, Everyone,

I wondered if I can use sendkeys to send certain keystrokes (Ctrl+C) to a
backgound application (which has no active window) so that I can interrupt
its running. Since there is no active window present with the background
application, I am not sure about how to do it.

Thanks for any help

Hi Alison,

What exactly are you wanting to do and why? Is the background app something
you have written? When you say background app. what exactly do you mean, is
it a windows service?

Some of these answers may help me or others to better answer your question.
