Sending/Receiving messages not working

When I try to execute the send/receive button I get an error messages that
says "The operation failed. An object could not be found." What does this
mean? I've tried resetting the ISP, I've looked at internet options for my
default email, I've tried repairing the program, I still recieve messages to
Outlook express (I removed the account too, but it didn't help). I'm out of
ideas.

Try Help>Detect and Repair first. If that doesn't work, create a new mail
profile.

I have tried detect and repair. I've also deleted the old profile and
created an other new one. However, I have not disabled the outlook express
yet. I still receive my emails through there. Outlook is shown as my
default email handler.

Never mind, I guess the last changes I made did the trick. The new profile
must've worked. Thank you very much for your input!
