sending pictures as an attachment to e-mails

Re: Windows Mail (yuck) ...

This is the message I get whenever I try to send a picture to someone via
e-mail ... "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fulfil the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it
as the default mail client."

What's up with that? If I attach the picture after I've created the e-mail,
the program automatically sends the HUGE file (rather than giving me the
opportunity to make it smaller). Help! And thanks in advance.

I assume that the picture has been saved as a file.

Start | Default Programs
Make sure Windows Mail has all three of its defaults.
