when I try and send a page or a link directly from IE I get a error message.
IT says that OE6 could not be opened because there is not enough memory. I
have more than enough memory available. Any ideas?

The temporary files only holds so many files, so perhaps you might try
clearing the Temporary Internet Files and History.

Tools | Internet Options | At the Temporary Internet Files click on Settings
| View Files tab | Edit | Select All \ click Delete key, then click OK.
Click Clear History

Hope this helps.

I tired it, but it still does not help. Thanks for the try :)

Here is something else I thought might help. :-)

Low Resources - Per Kwan-Leung Chan [MSFT]
Go to Tools at the top tool bar.
2> Then choose the "Internet Options" menu item. The Internet Options dialog
will pop up.
3> On the "General" page, click on "Delete Files...". The Delete Files
dialog pops up.
4> Check the box "Delete all offline content"
5> Click OK to close the "Delete Files" dialog
6> On the "Internet Options" dialog, click on "Delete Cookies...". The
"Delete Cookies" dialog pops up.
7> Click OK to close the "Delete Cookies" dialog
8> Now click OK to close the "Internet Options" dialog

If this does not solve your problem, you can use the "Disk Cleanup" facility
to free more space.
1> Go to
Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup.
2> Select the drives in turn (this is simpler then trying to figure out
which disk contains

The usual answer is that this is an erroneous error message caused
by corruption of your one or more of OE's .DBX message stores.
You can try repairing it by compacting all folders (Alt-F,F,F)
To reduce any more possibility of concurrency effects it is also common
advice to set Work Offline, close all other OE windows, and set the
main application window open at the root (e.g. press Ctrl-y,Home,Enter)
before attempting the repair.

BTW you are posting in a wrong newsgroup. This is a commonly
answered question in the ie6_outlookexpress newsgroup.
So if this isn't sufficient (and frequently it isn't) please search for further
instructions there.

Good luck
