I need to send out emails to my customers from my home computer.
Though the taxt I send is the same, I need each email to look individual in
the sense that it is adresses to a particular address, without showing other
adresses.

How do I automate this?

and next time dont multi post

Copying the same message to several groups (as opposed to sending the same
message to several groups) is not multi post for any reply in one group will
be shown in other groups so this is a useful merge of knowledge databases so
that one will not have to search several identiacl groups.

False. You are confusing multi posting with cross posting. Only the latter
is is acceptable. You are doing the former.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, aa asked:

| will you define cross posting for me so that I use it next time?

If you care about users do things correctly here and not to pollute, would
not it be easier for you and for me just to tell me here and then?

Sure. Cross posting is where you send the same message to more than one
related group (usually no more than 2-4). That is the method that keeps all
posts in synch so that if one person answers in one group, it will appear in
all groups.
Multiposting is reposting the same message in several groups but only sends
the message to one group each time with no indication that it has been
posted in other groups as well. So in effect, you send 4 different people
off to answer your question none of whom know if someone else has answered
it because they don't even know your multiposted.

Thanks, I said exactly that in my previous message and was sure I was
COPYing one message to two groups, but something must have diverted my
attention in the middle of that so I accidentally sent two messages - my
appoligies

No, it would not. I sent you that link to assist you not only with your query about cross-posting vs. multi-posting, but to assist you with other etiquettes as well.
