Sending multiple emails - repeatedly!

Gotta get some help, folks - he's driving me crazy! A friend has WinXP
w/Outlook Express and recently (as I understand it), every time he opens
OE, it automatically sends past messages multiple times (about 4 of each
is a ballpark figure) - getting so I've had to create a special filter
to drop his emails into it's own little trashcan! Hope someone has an
answer to this!!

Have him ask in an Outllook Express newsgroup.

What's an "Outllook Express" newsgroup? Anyway, "Have him ask..."?
If he was familiar enough with computers to find a newsgroup, any
newsgroup, it would be a wrong one (like I dared). So, I hope it is OK
if I try to help him out.
