Sending Multiple E-mails Attachments

When I send email with an attachment I get the following error:

Task 'Larry - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed
out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue
to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'

What is actually happening is Outlook keeps trying to re-send the message
over and over, the email address I am sending to will actually receive the
email intact every time Outlook tries to re-send the email.

A long shot would be to increase the timeout for that mail account. Have you
given that a shot yet?

Caused most often by scanning your outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner,
something that is never needed. As Vince said, increase the server timeout
value on the Advanced tab of your account properties pages.

Increasing the time only didn't solve the problem, but disabling virus scan
and increasing the response seems to work - THANKS
