Sending file from within Word doesn't add sig

Office 2007 on Vista Home Premium SP1.
If I send a file using the Mailto function within Word, the resultant Email
does not carry the signature set up for that account. Can I change this?

I found teh same issue with earlier versions of Outlook and Word as well. My
solution is not automatic, but it works. Simply insert a signature into the
email prior to hitting send!
