sending email to drafts folder

I am trying to use
..save
as opposed to
..send

so emails can be reviewed before sending. I drag the mail into the outbox
but it does not seem to be in the correct format and I have to open each one
before sending. Any suggestions please
 
You've already answered your own question: You must open the item and click Send (or perform the equivalent in code).

If i use .send what is the best way to bypass the security warning please
