sending e-mails

Can anyone help me please? I have an e-mail that just wont send it seems to
be stuck in the outbox. Any ideas on how i can get this e-mail sent?

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

I have an e-mail stuck in my out box that keeping being sent to the
recipient, but will not leave the out box. I've tried to delete it, but
Outlook will not let me - states "...already being transmitted..." Please
help. Other messages are being sent and I can receive e-mail.
