sending data to an I/O Port

Hi,
I'm working on cash register software and I want to access the register
drawer. (touchscreen casher)

These are attached to the casher via an I/O Port. I know the port number and
know wich data I have to send to the drawer.

How can I do this in C#?
Any hints as to where I can find information on this subject is very much
appreciated.

Hi,

I recommned you to see:

Basically, you can't do it directly in C#, you have use P-Invoke...
That means, to wrap some win32 methods with DllImport and Invoke your
wrappers methods.
