sending attatchments

i have a customer system that doesn't send email
attatchments larger than about a meg. they are using a
worldnet dialup account with outlook 2000. all updates
for office and windows are done. they can recieve any
size attatchment with no problem, just cannot send a
message with an attachment of any size.

i have tried changing the timeout and all it does is
disconnect quicker. the send bar goes about half way
then stops and after the timeout period it connects from
the server and closes the dialup session. the message is
that it is disconnected unexpectedly from the server.
other people in the household on different computers can
send and recieve attatchments just fine with the same
provider.

this was working and quit unexpectedly.

any ideas???

mary,

thanx for the reply. i will try the document you
suggested. i hadn't really thought of that as her email
works. can even send smaller attatchments just fine.

i will try to post back with what i find on the system.
it seemed to me to maybe a worldnet problem except that
other computers in the house using the same connection
are not haveing the same issue.
