sending an html with password protection in Outlook

Here's my problem. I send out a bulk email with a link to our office
webpage, that is password protected with usernames and passwords in our
database. When I sent it this last time, it didn't password protect the
page, even though it should have. How can i get it to ask for the username
and password of the page? Thanks!
 
Why the web page isn't asking for a password is a question to ask the page designers. It's not an Outlook issue.
