Sending an attachment in outlook 2002

I am using Outlook 2002. When I attach a documument to a new email the
attachemnt appears in the body of the email and not in the attachment line.
This only happens in new emails. When I reply or forward a message, any
documents I attach appear in the attachment line. How do I fix this problem
so that my atachments always appear in the attachment line?

Stop using Rich-Text Format which only Microsoft e-mail clients can
understand, anyway. Use plain-text or HTML instead.

Hi,
It looks like you are using the Rich Text Format for sending messages.
Set Outlook to use HTML format.
