Sending a message using Outlook

Sometimes, when I try to send a messenge, its placed in outbox and its never
sent. I have to "forward" the messenge in order to send.
How do I solve that?

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of mail account(s)? Do you
get any errors? When the message doesn't send, is it italicized in the
outbox?
