sender's reply not appearing in inbox

When a sender replies to my message, their text is not appearing in the
message in my inbox; only my original message to them. However, their reply
does appear in the alert outlook flashes in the lower right corner of my
desktop when it's downloading messages. When I get into outlook to view
their full message, their reply is not in the body of the message.

Do either you or they scan mail with an antivirus scanner? If so, try
disabline it.
