Sender address is showing [email protected];on be

It seems that this should only happen when you have the Microsoft Exchange
Server for your outlook, which I don't. Why is this happeneing and how can I
fix it?
 
Explain what you mean and why you think only Exchange would resolve
addresses.
Any electronic mail address will be resolved by Outlook, no matter what
transport it uses.
