Can some one help
I have just loaded a new Xp Pro when I goto the properties box for send to
there is no record tab so that I can make the cd recordable.

By default, the Send To menu in Windows XP lists the following commands
(destinations): • Compressed (zipped) Folder
• Desktop (create shortcut)
• Mail Recipient
• My Documents
• 3 1/2 Floppy (A:)
• CD Drive ........................ this is missing

Please crosspost instead of multi-post.
I replied to you in the other newsgroup.

Hi Larry.
No mate because there is no recored tab thats the problem I am thinking
there might be a fault in the Xp program.

Open My Computer>right click the CD Drive icon>Select Properties.
Click the Recording tab.
Put a check mark against-Enable CD recording on this drive
Click Apply/OK

Hmmm-- does the drive list as a cdrom or as a cd-r/cd-rw in my computer?
It sounds like Windows is not recognizing the drive as a cdrw.
