Send to SpyNet for Analysis - ActiveX Programs

Z

Zack

Hi,
In the Advanced Tools, ActiveX Programs...
When I click Send to SpyNet for Analysis, the link grays
itself out, but doesn't show any animations and I'm not
seeing any network activity.
Does this feature work in the Beta?

I should also mention, if I click on a known program, then
click back on the unknown program, the Send to SpyNet link
is enabled again. So I can basically click it over and
over and presumeably keep sending the same report
(assuming the feature is working).

Btw, I thought it was a little funny that these 2 controls
are showing up as unknown. I'm providing details in case
the Send to SpyNet isn't working.

Thanks for the quick response.
Please put in a request that some form of animation be
added to the app so we know that data has actually been
uploaded to SpyNet.
When I make reports from other parts of the MS AntiSpyware
program, I get visual confirmation.
But for ActiveX Programs, you're just disabling the link,
which makes you wonder...

Thanks!

Btw, I'm having a blast using this program. Very easy to
use and very solid for a Beta. Awesome UI.

A pop notification would be good.

I don't know whether this is working--I tend to suspect not.

False positives can be posted to the .signatures group, and there's now a
direct web form for them:

http://www.spynet.com/falsepositive.aspx

Some of these have been cleared up as definitions have been updated in the
course of this beta, so I'd encourage you to check them again with later
sets of definitions.
