Hi,
When I click send\receive mail all goes well but the task bar will not close
down, the green progress bar goes about 3/4 of the way and hangs, I have to
close the task pane down myself even though it says "the requested tasks were
completed successfully"
Is there a way to reinstall windows mail.

I doubt there's a way that doesn't involve reinstalling the rest of Vista
with it.

However, with some problems it helps to delete the mail server account and
then create it again. Click on Tools, then Accounts to see the mail server
account.

Click Details and give us the error message.

i can't send emails with vista. when i write my name and password i have a
error message. it seems it does not recognize me, what can i do?

What is the error message?
Did you follow the instructions on your mail provider's webpage when setting
up Windows Mail?

Some email servers insist that you enter your uses name without any CAPITAL
LETTERS. Some insist that you follow it with the part of your email address
starting with @, and some insist that you don't. Some even insist that you
have a password with no CAPITAL LETTERS. Check and see if any of
those help.
