Send/Receive error message

Lately, I haven't been able to receive my e-mail messages through Outlook
2003 (I CAN send). I have McAfee Virus protection. The problems started
when I downloaded the new McAfee Security Suite. But it's been an
intermittent problem. Sometimes I receive messages and sometimes it will
time out. Or it will just keep working and working and working. I can check
my e-mails through the internet if I have to, but that doesn't have my entire
history. HELP!!! This is so frustrating.
 
Whats the error message you get when your trying to receive mails.
