I get a send/receive error when Outlook tries to send outgoing mail; I
understand that I can't send mail due to my Port 25 being blocked by my ISP.
However, I deleted all the outgoing mail from the "Outgoing Mail" folder and
STILL Outlook tries to send one message.

How do I get rid of this ghost message?

No idea - any useful details???

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, paughjj asked:

There's not much more I can tell you.
Whenever I click the send/receive (or if it automatically tries to
send/receive), it tries "Sending Message 1 of 1" -- it fails due to a blocked
port. HOWEVER, there is nothing in my Outbox or Drafts or Deleted boxes that
contains an outgoing mail message. Rather peculiar, no? Any idea how to get
it to stop doing this?
